1980

Waltraud und Karlheinz Trips founded the Elektro-Schaltbau und Vertriebs GmbH Trips. The initial business was to provide electrical and electro-technical controls. It has since grown from strength to strengst to become a leading automation service provider. 

1989

Siblings Carolin and Christian Trips took over management.
A customer-oriented service enterprise develops which provides complete automation concepts from one single source and which expands its industry representations step by step.

1996

A new 900 sqm wide factory and office premises was built in the industrial area of Grafenrheinfeld. The human resources grew up to 18 employees.

1999

The growth continues. 32 employees cover all scopes of automation 24 hours per day 365 days per year and earn the award "Siemens Solution-Provider".

2000 to 2005

Trips again enlarges its area to 4000 qm. Altogether, 50 employees have a safe employment.
Gateway solutions between the world of automation and the IT sector enriched the variety of offers. Detlef Reusch, who has a long experience in business, was appointed to the management board.

2006

Trips became "Siemens Solution Partner Automation" and first PCS 7 specialist in northern Bavaria. In 2006, we have grown to 80 empolyees.

2007

The Trips Automation Singapore is founded, to allow for the highly growing business in the Asiatic region.

2008

Trips GmbH and Trips Information Technologie GmbH in Grafenrheinfeld as well as Trips Automation Singapore occur from now on under the umbrella brand "Trips Group" with a total of 160 employees.

2009 

For a better support of the customers in Western Germany Trips founded a subsidiary in Wülfrath. A fruther hall enlarges the factory premises aup to about 6.500 sqm area for offices and production.

2010

Siemens awards Trips with the Siemens Supplier Award as the best supplier worldwide within the category "Innovation / Breakthrough".

2011

The Bavarian Ministry of economic affairs awards Trips as one of "Bayerns Best 50", one of the fastest growing Bavarian companies within the last five years.
